It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year…Right?

By Touché

It’s the holiday season once again. Sometimes not everything goes of without a hitch. Families fight, food burns, and kids cry, yet we continue on with the festivities. Let’s take a peek into other people’s lives during the holiday with #MyHolidayStory. This should get interesting.

When does your boiling point happen? Be honest now. You know when your one auntie comes, you want to pull your hair out (We all have that one family member).

It is incredibly difficult to turn down all the goodies that are everywhere during the holidays.

Some choose to turn to dime wine to take the edge of of the holidays. Whatever works right?

Where are all the procrastinators at? Can I get a what what?

Anyone for a group family hug?

We absolutely can’t forget our friends that celebrate Chanukah.

Just a little National Lampoon Christmas action happening here, nothing to see, just advertising the eyes.

Lets be for real here for a sec. Cooking a turkey can be quite daunting to the novice chef. Good luck. Hope it turns out delicious.

Heck to the yes. Coffee makes everything better, even if it’s family drama. Just sit back and sip that pumpkin spice latte.

Oh snap. Who would like a beach holiday?

This is a very common holiday story, but it’s ask worth it in the end.

Try not being the Bad Santa this year. You know, goals and stuff.

Hopefully, you can enjoy your family even if there are a few kerfuffles. Remember this is the season for love, peace, and joy. Spread kindness to everyone you meet. Happy holidays.

Sarcasm, satire, and snark just seem to spew from my being. I may not be everyone's cup of tea, but who can refuse coffee? ?

  1. I will be honest with you about my reaction to “The Holidays.” At age 79-years and counting I feel darned glad to even get out of bed in the morning and I consider every minute I have to live as a blessing and I am not going to let anything get in my way to make it anything other than a blessing and so … let the family squabble … I am glad to be able to hear them … to see them … to be with them … to love them … everything else? Like Apostle Paul counselled, “In all situations where I find myself therewith am I content.”
