Puerto Rico Will Be Feasting This Year

By Touché

On this Thanksgiving eve, let’s not forget our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico. They are still struggling from the aftermath of the two hurricanes that whipped them out. Hurricane or no hurricane, Puerto Rico won’t let that stop the party.

Luckily, they have a miracle worker helping them be able to have a Thanksgiving feast. Chef José Andrés has been feeding Puerto Ricans since Hurricane Maria hit. His World Central Kitchen organization has been there from day one serving those that need assistance.

#ChefsForPuertoRico have been knocking it out of the park. Thanksgiving will not be slighted this year either.

Can you believe the delicious feast that the chefs are cooking up? It absolutely looks divine.

Puerto Ricans are not only getting turkey but all the fixings as well.

You have to remember the cooking environment is not very convenient. The power glitches in and out. That won’t stop the #ChefsForPuertoRico. The are one determined bunch of chefs.

They are working to feed 40,000 meals to those in need this Thanksgiving.

There’s a list of all the chefs that are helping make this yummy feast possible.

Look at all that mouth watering food they are cooking up.

You cannot forget the gravy. It is the best topping for the entire feast.

Remember to set an extra seat at your table for those that aren’t as fortunate to celebrate with a feast. When you are going around the table listing what your thankful for do not forget to add a special thankfulness to chef José Andrés and the #ChefsForPuertoRico. They have definitely picked up where the government has epically failed. They are true heroes and deserve special blessings.

Sarcasm, satire, and snark just seem to spew from my being. I may not be everyone's cup of tea, but who can refuse coffee? ?
