Do you remember Anthony Weiner? Of course you do. Who could possibly forget? He was the New York congressman who got wrapped up in his own sexting saga. Weiner sent obscene photos to a 15-year-old teen-aged girl.

He had been sentenced to serve 21 months, but will be surrendering to a federal medical center rather than regular prison.

Devens Federal Medical Center is the facility where he will report. The judge wanted Weiner to “get help” during his time served.
"Anthony Weiner to report to prison on Monday" Federal Medical Center, Devens sounds more like a hospital than a prison…wtf?

Obviously, Weiner will not be serving his sentence in a traditional prison setting. Either way, he was found guilty and this is his punishment. Who knows, maybe he really will get the help he needs. Perhaps, his letter had something to due with the lenient sentencing location.

In addition to jail time, Weiner was fined $10k for this whole debacle.

This is the ending of a very long messy situation (well, it is only the beginning for Weiner). Hopefully, he has learned his lesson and will be rehabilitated. Only time will tell.
