Like the good little social justice warrior (SJW) that I am, of course I planned to participate in the Antifa rallies that the noted beacon of journalistic truth, Fox News, promised was going to begin on November 4th with the sole purpose of bringing down President Trump and Vice-President Pence. They, along with other right-wing organizations such as Breitbart, have been ranting about this apocalypse for weeks now.
Using headlines that screamed
Antifa Apocalypse? Anarchist’s Groups Plan to Overthrow Trump “Regime” Starts Saturday – Fox News
Antifa Rallies Planned In At Least 20 Cities – Won’t “Stop Until This Regime Is Driven From Power” – Breitbart
a whole lot of people were riled up and expecting the worst. At least a civil war, at worst an all-out revolution against the government. In fact, if you believe Infowars and The John Birch Society then you need to stay indoors and keep your children inside also.
However, a search of the internet reveals that nothing of the sort has occurred. WXIA-TV, a local television station in Atlanta offers a link to “Live – Anti-Trump Demonstrations” Click on the link here, bear with the commercial, and you will see – bears. Seriously, they are not broadcasting rampaging revolutionaries – they are showing videos of bears.
In fact, the only images of Antifa activities come from previous events. There is live-stream coverage of marches from a group calling itself Resist Fascism, but that coverage is being provided by RT, which, if you are not familiar with them, is the Russian news organization reporting in the United States. And if you believe them, comrade, you’re living in the wrong country.
Yes, there may be some sporadic marches and protests today from the Resist Fascism group. As long as they are peaceful, then they have every right to do so under the protection of the First Amendment to the Constitution.
But in reality it all appears to be a hoax that started on Twitter and was built up by right-wing media outlets such as those named above. It must be really embarrassing to hold 20 massive rallies and nobody shows up. And here I am, all dressed up, and no place to go. I had my balaclava, my gas mask, and my totally black outfit (I look really good in black BTW).
And Twitter had some choice comments to make on the non-existent rallies today as well.
20 Antifa protestors. Pathetic much? ? Patriots showed up too, perhaps a hundred of them. Antifa civil war in Austin, TX, Nov. 4, 2017.

Hey, antifa comrades. I bought a bulk pack of off-brand legos. Gonna break into houses on Nov 4 just to leave them all over peoples floors.
