Papa John’s Blames Low Sales On NFL Kneeling Protests

By Touché

Papa John’s sales are down. Who do they blame? Why the NFL, of course. They are claiming that the kneeling protests are the issue. It has nothing to do with the fact that their pizza is absolutely disgusting. Oh no. It obviously has got to be the protests. Insert the eye roll to end all eye rolls here.

Papa John’s cited the NFL’s lack of leadership to resolve this issue is what caused sluggish sales. Yeah. Just throw the 1st amendment out the window so that Papa John’s pizza sales can increase. Everything in the entire world must revolve around adding more cushion to this one billionaire’s pocket. Forget about social injustices. Money is the only leadership needed.

Media, a rich white guy is complaining about low sales. He doesn’t want to take responsibility so he’s blaming those few NFL folks that kneel during the National Anthem.

Think about this logically. No one is refusing to buy Papa John’s because of the kneeling. People are refusing to buy Papa John’s because their pizza is nasty.

Papa John’s major issue is that gross sauce they slap on those pizzas. The sauce they use is sickeningly sweet. Tomatoes are not supposed to taste like that. Much less marinara sauce. Add some spices instead of sugar.

Just in case Papa John’s owner is unaware of why some choose to kneel, let’s clear it up for him. NFL players are protesting racial injustices and police brutality. The players found a non-violent way to protest this ever-growing problem. Who would expect some rich white dude to understand any of that?

Calling all Trump supporters. Your dictator approved pizza can be purchased from Papa John’s.

Seriously though, you cannot make some of this stuff up. It is simply ridiculous. Racism will not be tolerated in America from anybody (We’re looking at you Papa John’s owner). Why is kneeling such a threat to some folks? Do not you kneel when you propose? It is a respectful way to protest the grotesque things that keep happening to minorities. Open up your mind and your eyes to what is truly taking place. Look beyond the act towards the issue. How can we change this?

Sarcasm, satire, and snark just seem to spew from my being. I may not be everyone's cup of tea, but who can refuse coffee? ?
