With so much negative news coming out, it is time for a feel-good story. Five former US Presidents are going to unite forces to raise money for hurricane relief. Party lines do not matter. All that matters is helping Americans during this difficult time.
All five former living Presidents are coming together to do a benefit concert. Obama, both Bushes, Clinton, and Carter will be at the Reed Arena at Texas A&M University on October 21 for the “Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal” concert. The concert will feature, for your viewing pleasure, rock and country musicians. Alabama, Cassadee Pope, the Gatlin Brothers, and Yolanda Adams are just a few of the artists that have dedicated their time to assist in raising money. All ticket sales will be distributed amongst multiple charities.
George H.W. Bush said the benefit concert was for “the urgent cause of hurricane recovery in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean.” He went on saying, “It’s important that those affected by these devastating storms know that, even if the path to recovery feels like a road that goes on forever, we’re with them for the long haul.” Wiser more empathic words could not have been spoken more eloquently.
Looking at Trump’s daily behavior can be exhausting, infuriating, and disgusting; do not lose faith in America just yet. We have remarkable former US Presidents that still strive to put America AMD Americans first. Trump’s time will pass then we can continue moving forward. To all the hurricane victims, we are still with you. We have not forgotten you.
