Steve Bannon is gone as the de facto president of America. His last day was Friday, August 18, 2017, but he’d already begun plotting his next moves earlier in the week when he met with Bob Mercer as is being reported by Axios.
Breitbart News is thrilled to have Steve Bannon back at the helm, well funded by Mercer with the promise to go after the White House. Axios writes:
It’s interesting that Bannon lasted just about a year exactly. Mother Jones reported on August 22, 2016:
Last week, when Donald Trump tapped the chairman of Breitbart Media to lead his campaign, he wasn’t simply turning to a trusted ally and veteran propagandist. By bringing on Stephen Bannon, Trump was signaling a wholehearted embrace of the “alt-right,” a once-motley assemblage of anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, ethno-nationalistic provocateurs who have coalesced behind Trump and curried the GOP nominee’s favor on social media. In short, Trump has embraced the core readership of Breitbart News.
For a year the followers of Breitbart along with other hate group members have given the President their complete and unflinching support. Now that “their” leader (“President Bannon”) has turned against the White House and Breitbart has declared #War against America. With Steve Bannon who said he is leading the charge, Donald Trump may be feeling the heat to the degree that he’s ready to get out of the kitchen.
He’s a prideful man, but he’s also a cowardly and classless man. He will see it as everyone picking on him. He’ll say the Generals didn’t let him have the staff he wanted. He’ll say the media is mean to him. He’ll say he’s been mistreated. He’ll complain about the unfair treatment of his family. He’ll say we can’t impeach him because he quits.
There are a lot of things that can be said about Donald Trump, but one of the nicest things people will say is that he is a loyal family man. He is very protective of his family. Attacks against his family from two different directions may be his Achilles heel.
We can hope, can’t we?
If you’d like to see the President resign, write, call, fax, email, petition, and visit your representatives! Stand up, make your voice heard! We can force them to do our bidding. We put them in office, and they are there to represent us, not their personal interests or some other agenda.
