Game of Thrones: Eastwatch

((SPOILER ALERT)) Last week, we watched as Cersei negotiated with the Iron Bank, Little Finger passed on to Brandon Stark (the three-eyed raven) the dagger meant to kill him, the Stark sisters reunited, Jon Snow took the Mother of Dragons deep into the caves (she must really trust him) to show her the dragon’s glass and the carvings of the Children of the Forest. There, he tells Dany that they stood alongside the First Men – “against a common enemy – despite their differences, despite their suspicions. Together. We need to do the same if we’re going to survive. Because the enemy is real. It’s always been real.”

Is there a budding partnership between The Mother of Dragons and the King in the North? She obviously takes his counsel and there’s obviously something simmering between them — unlike the roasting she gives to the Lannister army.

And how about that ending? Jaime sinking into the sea and nothing but silence…

In this week’s preview, Jon Snow warns us, “bad things are coming.” What’s next?
