Politco: Sarah Palin’s Mad For Not Getting Secretary of VA Position

It was first reported by ABC that Sarah Palin was being considered for the Secretary of Veteran Affairs position by Donald Trump. Apparently she is not only frustrated for not getting the job, but is airing out a grievance over Trump’s recent Carrier deal.

In a claim that she said was mostly crony capitalism, she was quoted saying…

“…political intrusion using a stick or carrot to bribe or force one individual business to do what politicians insist.”
“When government steps in arbitrarily with individual subsidies, favoring one business over others, it sets inconsistent, unfair, illogical precedent,”
“Republicans oppose this, remember? Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail.”
“A $20 trillion debt-ridden country can’t afford this sinfully stupid practice,” she cautioned, “so vigilantly guard against its continuance, or we’re doomed.”
“I’ll be the first to acknowledge concerns over a deal cut by leveraging taxpayer interests to make a manufacturer stay put are unfounded — once terms are made public,”

You can read the full op-ed piece on a website called ‘Young Conservatives” where she also used terms like “hallmark of corruption” and “socialism,” to describe the deal. And you can read Polico’s original report on it all here.
